Things are good, but not GREAT!  People are showing up as team members and strategic partners.  Relationships are strong.  I am doing a lot of things for a lot of people.  However, I am finding myself pressed for time and noticing some of my personal and business tasks being left undone, completed barely on time, with less quality than I am capable.  Projects are mounting up and I am getting up earlier and staying up later just to do an average job.  My health is suffering, as the extra work is not allowing me the time to exercise and eat balanced meals.  I am 9months late for my annual physical.  The more I do for some people, the more they seem to demand.

NEAR

DG Mutchler has greatly expanded and Herdlinger Associates has become an arm of DG Mutchler.  DG Mutchler is a large part of my identity in the business world.  My time is spent recruiting and providing training and assignments for coaches.  Some of my time is still spent coaching one-on-one over the telephone.  No Dream Too Big has grown and is operating without much direct input from me.  All the people involved in my life are treated with dignity and respect even though I have begun to say “no” to their requests for my time and money.  I have chosen to help them learn to fish rather than doing the fishing for them and giving them the fish.  Time and energy are in more supply.  I am back on track with my annual physicals and my health has greatly improved 

FAR

Life is simple.  I am in Spello Italy for the first 120 days of every year.  Crisco is delighted that she will be able to attend the runway show in Milan each year and several of the children and grandchildren have chosen to visit us during the early Spring.  All business systems are at full tilt with a great team taking responsibility, accountability, and authority over all of the day to day operations.  I have discovered this to be very similar to the share-crop relationship I have with my farm properties (all of which continue to produce quite well, by the way).  Most of my time is spent in self-development and being a rainmaker and business closer for DG Mutchler, No Dream Too Big, and Herdlinger Associates, while continuing to maintain a balanced and purposeful in my life.
